Why a good-looking website can still bring in nothing
A website nobody finds is an expensive business card. These are the usual reasons a good site brings in no enquiries. Most sites have at least four of them, and publishing more blog posts fixes none.
- Nobody chose the keywords. Pages target phrases that nobody searches, or that national brands own outright. Without intent mapping you compete for traffic that was never going to buy.
- Google can't crawl it properly. Slow pages, broken internal links, orphaned URLs, duplicate titles and a sitemap nobody submitted. Technical debt caps how far any content can rank.
- One page for everything you do. A single services page can't rank for six different services. Each one needs its own page, its own keyword, its own proof and its own call to action.
- No schema, so no rich results. Without structured data, Google has to guess what your business is, where it works and what it charges. Competitors with schema take the review stars, the FAQ dropdowns and the map pack.
- Invisible to AI assistants. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for a provider, it cites three or four sources. Content that isn't structured to be extracted and quoted never becomes one of them.
- Local signals missing or inconsistent. An unclaimed Google Business Profile, a different phone number on every directory, no location pages. For any business serving a real area, this is the fastest thing to fix and the most often ignored.
What every AI SEO engagement includes
Every package covers these six areas. Higher packages do more of each, every month.
- Keyword and intent research. The phrases your buyers actually type, filtered to what you can realistically win this year, with one keyword mapped to one page.
- Technical SEO. Speed, Core Web Vitals, crawling, indexing, internal linking and redirects. The unglamorous work everything else depends on.
- On-page optimization. Titles, descriptions, headings, copy and images rewritten page by page against the keyword that page is meant to own.
- Schema and rich results. LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, Breadcrumb and Product markup, so you qualify for the results that take up more space than a blue link.
- AI search optimization. Content written to be extracted and quoted, entity and knowledge graph signals, and crawler access for GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot.
- Local SEO and reporting. Your Google Business Profile managed, citations made consistent, and a monthly report on rankings, traffic and enquiries you can read in five minutes.
Packages and pricing
All three packages are month to month. There is no twelve-month contract: if the work isn't earning its cost, you are free to stop, and everything built stays yours.
| Package | Best for | Price | Timeline | What is included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foundation | Local and small business | From $600/mo | Monthly | 15 keywords tracked, 4 pages optimized per month, 2 blog articles per month, technical SEO fixes, Google Business Profile managed, schema markup, AI search optimization, monthly report |

Want to see the plan before you commit? A one-off technical and content audit is $450, delivered in three days, with a prioritised list of what to fix and what each fix is worth. If you start a retainer within 30 days, the $450 comes off your first month. Outside the retainer there is nothing else to pay: no setup fee, no tool licences billed back to you and no minimum term.
How the work runs
- Audit. Technical issues, content gaps, competitor positions and the keywords you can realistically win. You get the list before any retainer starts.
- Strategy. One keyword mapped to one page, a publishing calendar, and an order of work based on what is worth the most, not what is easiest.
- Fix the foundation. Speed, crawling, indexing, schema and internal links come first. Most providers skip this stage because it is invisible in a report.
- Build and publish. Pages optimized and content published on the topics that bring buyers, structured so Google ranks it and AI engines can quote it.
- Measure and adjust. Monthly reporting on rankings, traffic and enquiries. We double down on what moves and drop what doesn't.
Technical fixes can show within weeks. Meaningful ranking and traffic change usually takes three to six months, and longer in competitive markets.
Search starts with the site
SEO works best on a site that was built for it. Beautellionaire and Ohraw are two Shopify stores built with search in from day one.
If your site is slow, thin or built on one page for everything, fixing it first is often the cheaper route. AI WordPress website development and AI Shopify store development both include on-page SEO, schema and speed work from the start.
Local search matters most for businesses that serve a real area, such as law firms and home services businesses. For product brands the same work moves to collections, product pages and Product markup, as with beauty and skincare brands.
