Built for brands whose difference is easy to miss
In beauty, skincare and wellness, most brands make the same claims. The ones that sell online make their real difference obvious: who the product is for, what is in it and why it costs what it does, before the shopper scrolls away.
That is most of my work for Southern California clients. Cocoa By Design, an organic spray tan studio in Fountain Valley in Orange County, had prices hidden and every booking arriving by phone or DM mid-appointment. Its new WordPress site shows prices on every service, plain prep and aftercare guides, booking on every page and local SEO for Orange County. It went live in 5 days.
Shopify or WordPress
- Product brands: Shopify, with product pages that lead with your difference, trial kits or bundles as the first buy, and post-purchase emails.
- Studios, salons and practitioners: WordPress with prices on the page, booking built in and local SEO for the neighbourhoods you serve.
- Brands that do both, such as products plus training or appointments, can run on one store, as Beautellionaire does.
Prices and timelines
Shopify Launch stores start at $1,500 for up to 20 products and go live in 2 to 3 days. Growth stores, with up to 100 products, bundles and post-purchase emails, start at $2,750 and take 5 to 7 days. Studio and practitioner sites on WordPress start at $999; Cocoa By Design's booking site was $2,500. Your Shopify plan and apps are paid directly by you. Details: Shopify development.
